I will agree that it looked like a coaching disaster for OSU. I was also wondering why they didn't try to run a little more than they actually did. Especially once they figured out that Smith wasn't doing too well throwing the ball. 80 something yards for an entire game is just horrible.

As far as the defense they called, maybe they stuck with it because that is what worked for them during the year. I have no idea what they played during the year because the only time I watched OSU was when they played Michigan and that was only for the last 5 minutes of that game.

It looks like you will be losing your quarterback Smith, your running back #25, and your best receiver #7, to the draft. Didn't Tressel win a National Championship at OSU? If so, you don't have too much to be disappointed with. Me, I prefer a playoff in college football, even if it is only 2 or 3 games deep. Heck, 2 games deep would have had UF, USC, Michigan, and OSU playing in it, and that would have been pretty good. I just cringe to think that Michigan might have played OSU for the National Championship and neither of them came close to deserving it. OSU got crushed by Florida and Michigan got crushed by USC.
