Death Valley(Mojave desert)

Victorville and Adelanto were thriving communities when I was there but I hear they have slipped a notch or two since then. George Air Force spread a lot of money around those two towns. When it closed it was more or less a death warrant for the area.

The Roy Rogers Museum was something to see but I don't know if it's still there or not. The Embers was a great place to eat. Fabulous food and drinks.

We used to dirt bike across the desert and while riding never seen a single animal. I was always surprised because of the vastness and lack of animals. Maybe I was there at a bad time.
