I'm not sure I can help you much, because you being from Utah, I'm assuming that you will probably hunt over around the park somewhere and I have never hunted there for elk. Have hunted moose over there just east of Pinedale and did see a few elk while doing that. But like M.T. said alot of that area is Wilderness and you do have to have a guide when you hunt them. I have hunted area 37 and 36 and have seen alot of elk there, but anymore a lot of that is Wilderness so you would have the same problem there too. Anyway congrats on the drawing and I hope you have all the luck in the world.
Two things if you archery hunt don't forget your archery license and if you hunt around the park watch for bears. Have fun.
