Well, one thing it is, a great example of how to pose and present a subject to the camera in a way that makes it look larger than life. The subject (gator) is much closer to the camera than the:
-LEO -truck -back hoe Going by the diameter of the rope and width of the bucket (which doesn't look like it's attached to a monster sized machine) I'd say 23 feet is a bit over optimistic. TBO
