Whether I factor in the BC of bullets in a caliber before buyinh that caliber depends on what I'm going to use the caliber for.
BC really starts to become a factor once you exceed 300 yards at least. So, for a long range varminter? Sure, the BC of the bullets I want to use would be a significant factor. For a rifle to hunt whitetails in the woods? Not a bit.
