Thanks guys. I thought about the cross bow route, but it sounds like I would be struggling just to get my stuff into the woods, according to the Docs. I go in Tuesday morning for the operation. Then its's 4 - 6 weeks in a sling with no shoulder movement allowed. Then they tell me up to 4 weeks rehab just to be able to lift the arm on its own.
I'm not looking forward to missing the seasons, but the whole summer has already been very limited on what I can do, and the pain at night is the worst. I'll just suck it up and rehab as fast as I can so I'm ready for next year. The wife has already figured out I will probably get a touch grumpy from my lost time in the woods
