Yes and no...I didnt want it to be...(lookin fer the right word) distressful.
I wanted a "feel sorrow for the soldiers who fell" feel...but yet I wanted some sense of pride and distinction for em too. Hence the "easy to look at" pics in the high side of the composition.
But overall I wanted a "look what they went through" kinda feelin...not just blood, death and etc.
My mama cried when she saw it...so I felt that it'll at least make the viewer think..and remember them.
