Well Pete

They made that scope up till a few years ago. The compacts were made for those mountain guns etc..as well as the rimfires..but they had rimfire scopes too. In really good condition the scope will bring about 125- 150 bucks...maybe more in the right market, Everybody wants variables now..big ones too.I have a Compact 3x9 on my 280 Mountain Rifle and it definitely doesn't have the field of view of the 3x9x40..which makes 'em seem to be not quite as bright as the standards. Because of my eyesight problems I am going to take the compact off the 280 and put a 3x9x40 on it. The Compact will go on ebay....while it still can!!

Oh BTW the compact line was changed to the FX-II line---approximately anyway. Wholesale on the FX-II 4x33 is about 220 bucks
