CNN Defends Its Use of Democratic Supporters in Republican YouTube Debate

I watched some of the debate, as much as work demands allowed anyway. I lean to the Democratic side of things, but was impressed with some of the answers given by the candidates. I see no problem with CNN using questions submitted by people who do not necessarily support these candidates. Seeing Mike Huckabee undergoing hardball questioning on religion from a 90 yr. old grandma clutching a bible is not really very informative. Debates and question and answer sessions set up to show a candidate in a favorable light do nothing to further the process. I would rather see Hillary Clinton being grilled by Wayne LaPierre than Katie Couric.
