shot a s&w 460, just bought a 500

THE S&W 500 is a handful for sure, but nowhere near as bad as you would think it would be.

I do have one word of advice though, wear gloves.
The recoil, though heavy is manageable, but the checkering on the grips (plastic, rubber or wood doesn't matter) can dig into your hand.
