Hmmm As I understand it Remington is not behind the move but it's the Holding Company which own Remington. I don't think it's good news for anyone intersted in firearms and I expect any assessts to be stripped off leaving a weakened industry
 I mean just look at Remington themselves  quality dropping, throw aways rifles and the rest made in eastern europe. Actually it's a crime what has happened to a truely great old gunmaker
