I just bought a '17 Remington. The wood is ugly as a mud fence but the metal is excellent and the bore shines like a spanked babys butt. #'s matched also. I paid, swallow hard Bill, $200.
I figure I stole it. Milsurps in this part of the world are almost non-existent. Right now mother nature is suffering from PMS and I haven't had it out to shoot it yet. Example: 4 days ago it was -28° then it snowed 6" and yesterday it was 52°. I want to see how fast I can volley fire it. It is supposed one of the best bolt rifles for that excersize. We shall see.
