Just my luck
I used to have an old Webley 455 and decided to get rid of it and the empty brass I had for it. Then this week I bought a bunch of RCBS dies from a guy.. 10 sets of different rifle and pistol dies and a set of Bench rest 223 dies. Got 'em all for 70 bucks delivered. In the box was an as new set of RCBS 455 dies.. And I had at least 350 empties. It was a pretty accurate gun..even in my hands. and today at an auction I bought 4 boxes of 256 Win Mag ammo so now I can shoot my ol Contender 256 bbl now. Them things are getting expensive. There was also an old box of 455 ammo in the bunch of stuff they sold..but no gun now.
![]() Another question. There were two Savage lever action rifles in the auction. Looked like a marlin ...but they were in caliber 30-30 Remington. Now I know that they really wasn't a cartridge called that but I was pretty certain they were actually chambered for 30 Rem. Do anybody here remember the 30 Rem being called that? I had a mild recollection...but with Oldtimers a settin in I ain't so sure any more
