What area are you hunting? I hunted West and North of Fairplay on Public land. Arrowed a nice Cow. That country is a killer for us flatlanders though. Climbing those hills for a 68 year old guy is a B!tc# if you are not acclimated to that height. I was a huffin and a puffin for a few days. The country was beautiful. Looking to the Southeast I could plainly see Pikes Peak and to the South and West Mount Silverheels. Quite a story about Silverheels and the "Lady" it's named after. She must have been quite the gal.
