I believe the next school shooting or mall massacre (in a gun-free zone, of course) will be the vehicle for the administration to push through bad anti-gun laws faster than the current bailout went through Congress.

Getting back to topic here, my apologies Dan, I too use factory loads for my personal defense ammuntion. When I begin handloading in the (hopefully ) not too distant future, I will still utilize the factory flavors-especially in the anti-gun area that I reside (NW burbs of Chicago)

As a sidenote, I saw an advertisement recently, (Cabelas I believe) that had pitched a new personal protection line of cartridges from Hornady that claimed low flash, recoil, and muzzle blast for in the house shooting scenarios. I'll have to look into it.
