That is a Smith & Wesson Combat Masterpiece, the -4 means the fourth modification IIRC. That's one of the nicest .38 Spl. handguns S&W ever made
The also made it in .22LR as well with a different number but the same name. It was supposed to duplicate the .38 in practice and used the much cheaper .22 ammo. Basically, it is the K-38 target pistol with a 4" barrel. It wouild take an awfully large amount of green to get me to part with mine. Paul B.
