New site is terrific

Regarding the newly designed website: I didn't have a problem with the old one. This new one is okay too xcept for ONE thing -- the info bars at the top of the posts (and elsewhere). Black print on the dark brown background is terribly difficult to read.

Nice looking, but seems to be a lot less trafrfic on new site. May be it's my imagination.
