I've had very good luck with the Mueller 4-16 Mil-dot on my .223. A pretty decent scope for the money. Has held well for 5 years so far.

Dont dis me, but I like Tasco. Theyre cheap and good enough for pretty much anything. I've got a 2.5-10X42AO Target and Varmint Series on my .243. Its good and only costs about $100. I can also be had in 3-9X40, 3-12X42AO, 6.5-20X42AO, and 6-24X50AO. Costs up to 150 bucks. Not as good as some but they work.
