nope nuthin from the post office yet, but then again its pretty slow in my area.

Made a deal to pickup a 79 chevy pickup with a full length bed, and a motor and tranny that were completely rebuilt less than 10K miles ago (truck was resprayed at the same time). Buddies dog chewed the wires to the rear taillights in two, the tires are low, and the battery is dead. Still paying $500 for a truck in as good a condition as this one is a heck of a deal I think. Should take me probably a half hour of work to have it back in 100% shape. I will repair it in his yard after givin him the check then run it on down to the local lube place and have the oil changed and the inspection done. Will register it as a farm truck when I get it home. Unfortunately my buddy is working a riverboat and won't be back for at least 22 days, so I am chompin at the bit till then to get it.
