Mr. 16 gauge,
I went afield yesterday with my .50 caliber smoothbore flint Hawken and loyal hound. I load 75 grains of 2F Goex behind 80 grains (by volume) of #6 shot. We had a nice trek over the forest, but saw nothing here in PA. Adam

Hello Adam;
Forgot to mention my load was 70 grains of FFg and 1 1/8 oz of #5 shot (looks more like #4 to me though). Hope to get out again some time on Sat. and try again.
