I went to Vegas over Christmas to visit the son who has returned from Okinawa. When we arrived back in Florida, I wore a short sleeve shirt and a light jacket on the plane, it was 27 degrees with a 20 mph wind blowing across the airport parking lot! The followin week it was 12 degrees at the farm for a couple of days with a 20 mph wind. No wind chill numbers, just flat temps.
My dock plumbing is busted and so when it warms a bit I will get to wade out and repair some PVC pipes. Next time I will remember to drain the darned thing before I go off. I did cut the water off but did not think the pipes would freeze while we were gone. My Thai pepper plant got frost bit in the garage, so I will have to cut it back and see if it will come on. Shure would hate to loose it. Best, Ed
