Have never tried with a crossbow but have shot many with bow from blind. Shooting under 25 yards should be a snap especially with a crossbow. There are many good shots on a turkey, each having it's own advantages and dissadvantages. If you're crossbow shoots less than 2" groups out to 20 yards, I would suggest head shooting the birds. This is a lot less risky than one would initially think, especially if the bird is strutting. While strutting you have a softball size target of head and neck all balled up. When standing the head is still bigger than any turkey heart. Typically body shots kill by shock. If you're going to shoot for the body, use a BIG expandable broadhead. With an arrow that quick, it will blow right through them and they will run off unless you cut a big hole through them. Shoot for where the wing joins the body and you'll be taking pictures.
