I posted this years ago here about Savage (and Weaver rings).
What does Savage rifles, Weaver rings & bases and Jon Lyn have in common? Kinda ugly, but give great service! I am one of the weirdos who actually think the barrel lug nut looks 'cool' it makes it look like the 'Mechanics rifle'
