I have found many nice MkIIIs, No.4 Mk1s, Jungle Carbines and P-14s, But I began looking in 1958. Lately, the only decent ones I have seen have come out of India. I got a mint No.1 MkIII made in 1949 last year. The days of the $12.95 Enfields are long gone like 25-cent a gallon gasoline. Excellent British rifles will go for $300 and up, if you can find them.
