Duffy... I have used those type adapters...and although they work the don't work well. You have to take tha adapter out every time you shoot. It is a pain and the 410 doesn't always sound right..the 20s are better.. DH is on the right track..but I would try ti find a 410er adapter..Look on ebay..They do work quite well. They were made in 12/410 16/410 and of course 20/410 I had a couple I sold not long ago.. a 12 and a 20 You would be more than pleased with one of them..not so with the adapters IMHO

Yep, the adaptors suck. I tried them out quite a while ago in .410 out of a 12 gauge and they were horrible.
