remember, it doesn't take mega-poundage to put a broadhead thru an animal.

I bought a Bear super grizzly back in the late 70's when I was 16-17 years old......wish I had known this back then! Sold the bow and put the money towards a compound (still have that one).

the biggest changes I've made in my archery/bowhunting in the last twenty, or so, years has been to switch to carbon arrows and use a mechanical release aid.

Still shooting aluminum (when I do shoot....don't bow hunt much any more), but I must say that my accuracy improved 100% when I switched to a mechanical release.

Would like to try and build my own composite bow someday........I need like, a 32 hour day to get all my wants and needs done!
