I've tried several different areas, and I usually hunt alone. I'm not out just for a kill, either, but it's getting extremely boring and frustrating not seeing anything, anywhere.

Congrats to your son; that's a nice buck. He looks a bit tired in that first photo....what did you do; make him drag it out all by himself? I have had two Stevens 311 shotguns; one in 12 & one in 20 gauge. Gave the 20 gauge to a friend, and the 12 gauge now has headspace issues, so it sits in the closet.
