Yep, works great but, needs an after market barrel, thus the big after market business for the 10/22. Ruger has a pretty wide tolerance schedule for their barrels and some of their barrels are just outlandish in bore diameter. With a good target barrel it will shoot well.

Most folks do not know that the US Olympic Team shoots the small bore Running Boar course with a modified 10/22, sporting a custom scope made up by Premier Reticle Co., has two cross hairs. I saw and shot one of the guns at our range one day where I was the Range Master. A young USAF Airman was a member of the team and brought his gun out to check the zero.
