Half of everything is now made in China. I also hate to say this but the quadlocks are the best weaver type mounts they have ever had. I just noticed they were made in China myself last month when i bought 3 or 4 sets to have around. They only cost 5.99 a set. Shoulda known.. I do have 3 or 4 sets of the old style. I used Leupold on the Kimbers QRs on the 8400 300 Mag. Just put a set of Weavers on an old Rem 721 270.

I was just getting ready to say that I have three of my rifles equipped with Weaver Quad Lock rings and I also personally like them better than the older steel rings that only had the lock-down screws on one side. The old ones were difficult to get the cross hairs horizontal at times because the scope would tilt when you went to tighten up on the screws. This is not a problem with the new Quad Lock rings. I personally don't have a problem with their being made in China. Like Skeet said it's hard to find stuff these days not made in China. I like "made in USA" stuff just as well as the next guy, but there are times when you just don't have any choice.
