Thumbs up

Often with rifles in production a lot of years, they will use a few different types of guards. Generally beginning with steel, then later switching to plastic to reduce costs. I have changed a couple of my old twentytwo rifles to the older stamped steel guards, replacing the plastic. No worries on breakage! These rifles don't generally have a lot of 'collector value', so changing parts isn't a big issue.
