It depends

There are a lot of used T/C and Lyman flintlocks available around here. I bought a beautiful .50 T/C Hawken for $100.00 last year. A few weeks ago, I got a mint condition Lyman Deerstalker .54 flintlock for $250.00. If I liked the rifle you described and it had a decent bore and excellent overall condition, I would not offer more than $250.00. So, it depends. All the best...

I still plan on looking at the gun on Sat, if possible. One of the problems here in MI (as opposed to PA), is that there aren't a whole lot of used flintlocks on the used gun racks......as a matter of fact, this is only the second one I've seen in all my years of perusing used gun racks.
Checking on line prices for the same gun (but in .50 cal....more popular, and gave me a greater sample size), guns ranged anywhere from $195 to $545! That's a BIG spread! ....and it makes it more difficult to try and standardize a price.
I have a couple of "parts guns" that this shop might be interested in....if so, I might use it to sweeten the deal. We'll see........................

The renegades are fine rifles I have 2 in 50 & 54 cal. They are fine rifles and great shooters, the shorter barrel makes them a great hunting rifle to carry around. I've seen 2 renegade flintlocks for sale around here the last year, one was going for 350 in excellent condition, the other was going for 275 in good condition. Doesn't seem to be too far off to me.
