Good for you. I hope ya have fun with that 9mm. I had someone try to sell me an original one of those 9s... It sure made a lot of noise out of a fair amount of money. If the price was good on that Savage..I have found them to be pretty accurate rifles. Not often pretty..but good serviceable rifles... I bought a Ruger 77RS today with an older Redfield Low profile 2x7 on it..It was also in the great 270 caliber. Bet I paid more than you..and it really isn't a much better rifle either..But it is going to my grandson or granddaughter..whichever one jumps on it first...amd young'uns like pretty. Granddaughter has been killin the local fox population round the farm back east

Looks like you prefer not to own a 9mm rifle. So be it because it is a personal decision. Last time I checked I did not need anyone's permission because it is my choice and my money. It is no different than any semi-auto rifle that you own. Take cate...
