Jeweled action and yes Timney trigger..will get some better pics as she's now sitting at home. Ran a quick rag and she appears to be a 9 or 9.5 twist so should take some big bullets well. How well she shoots will determine if I keep it or not. Too hard to pass on quite frankly. It cleans up nice!

I am with Skeet on this one. I would like to be in it as low as I could. Then on my table it would sport a $1,095 price tag and a argue down to $850 -$900 bottom line. The 308 Norma is really a fine round in the, "if you can see it you can shoot it," realm. The negative is probably going to be the heavy barrel. People today like light rifles to carry all day. Speaking of which, I see it sports QD sling swivel studs also. I would save a group, scan it and put it on the butt with the price held on by a rubber band.

I have a custom 350 Rem Mag in a Mark X right now that I am asking $1050 for, and it is a .5 inch gun. Tag says Custom Commercial Mauser on it, by the way, which is what it is with 28 rounds fired. But the Mark X is not a fast mover, odd in that there is nothing wrong with it, just people remember them selling for cheap but do not remember the pre 64 Win-70 actions being cheap at one time also.

lol, you boy's jaw would drop if you heard what I ended up paying for it! No doubt I came into a heck of a deal...heck 25-30% markup. I could go over 100% and still be in under your "low" end. Not much of a hunting gun, but will be a heck of a 1000 yard steal target gun, or a groundhog gun. My bathroom scale tells me it'll be in the 12# gun class. Probably get to work up some loads and see how she shoots here in the next couple days. Original first loaded brass has some 180 gr (what appear to be) Seirra's after pulling bullets. Who knows, could come out on top either way..keeping or selling that is.

Lol, it never hurts my feelings to hear a shooter got a good deal on a new iron. Well, let me take that back, if it is a gun I have been looking for for years and it is a show partner, right behind my back, right next to me, and he holds me up, then I might be a bit peeved, but peeing in his scotch bottle settles that hash.
