I'm sure he'd go tomorrow if I'd tell him to pack up! I know he wants to kill an elk bad, since he shoots my mounts with a nerf gun all the time. He's got another year until he can take his hunter safety, so until he gets old enough to no be a mentored youth, he'll have to stick with shooting deer and turkey and small game here in PA. Heck the kid has killed more deer than several people I know! The flintlock kill was a classic. He was the only one to hit one that day and sure showed the boys how its done. Hopefully we'll have some archery pictures here by this time next week. Ma has been complaining about the lack of meat in the freezer. My daughter puts her time in too, she just doesn't seem to have quite the resume as him.

Nice deer and a nice 223 rifle. Remember that discussion well, looks just fine for a growing young man.

Bet the daughter likes to talk, mine would not be still. Not real good fishing either. But it all works out, she makes pretty good grandchildren....

Yeah I believe he's killed 3 deer with that rifle/load. Muzzle loaders and crossbow with the rest.

Groundhogs out to 350 with it. Had him shooting silhouettes out to 1000 yards with the bench guns. Pretty good shot, heck I don't think I started shooting until his age now and the kid has his own arsenal already!
