Didn't mean to rain on your parade

Heck if ya got the mould make some slugs and play around with 'em Have fun. I was just pointing out that they "probably" won't get great accuracy. But ya never know..shotguns are just like rifles..every one has it's own likes and dislikes. Hmmm kinda like me.Try makin and loading those things. I keep buying moulds to try to find the perfect bullet for all my handguns..and some rifles. I have actually found a few like the Lyman 457 122 HP mould for my 45-70. Have fun my friend.

Thanks for your opinions guys. I just happen to see a video on youtube about this style of slug. I liked they way they looked so I was just curious if anybody had tried them and had any luck with them before I throw down 70 bucks for a mold. It would most certainly be a short range proposition. I have a place I will be hunting later this year where the yardage will be 60 yards or less. Thought maybe I would give a slug a try at that range. I haven't really messed with slugs in a really long time.
