Petey,
Good on your son and a great job of teaching to Dad. It transfers Petey, to later life, all of the practice, the practice discipline plus the range manners and respect for others. Keep working with him.

My son was the Florida AA handgun silhouette champion in 1989, he was a junior shooter. Today after 23 deployments he has over 800 combat missions flown and over 850 lives saved. He is a PJ that went on to OTS and is a Combat Rescue Officer.
