finaly took the plunge

figured that i have this part time job that i can afford decccent scope on the 22/250. i didnt ordere the 25 power leo like i wanted. it cost way more than i want to spend and the 2506 has been showing me latly all i can do with 14 power and not be wanting more.

drumb roool please, and the scope is leos 6-18x40 target(tall knobs) with target dot reticle. i debated on getting the 30mm 4.5-14x40 vxIII but it cant be orderd with a dot and im not real sure about the side objective with no yardage marks on it. guesss i could make my own yard marks on the side ounce i get it looking at something at a known distance.

the rifle its going on is rugers walnut blued tang safety vt 22/250. this rifle has the heavy 24" barrel instead of the now standerd 26" target grey with a big azzz laminated 4x4 for a handle.

the rifle shot very good with 3-9 leo on it the few times i shot it. im curious to see how much difrence if any at 100yds itl make on the group size. hopefully i can see the 1" dot dance in the middle and not cover it up.

i orderd this scope kinda out of the blue because i had a chance to look through the 6.5-20 leo that had the target dot. decided i just had to have one. so its now on the way with proud 22/250 waiting for it. and will more than likly be the best glass the rifles seen in a long time maybe ever.

i dont feel one bit bad that ive paid more for this scope than i did the rifle. i dont think theres any thing wrong with that.

will report later on how it works out.

Evan
