IL Gun tags still available!

If you want to hunt IL this year, you still have time. Kevin Hammell just notified me of an opening they have for gun season because of a late cancellation. Keep in mind 60% of the big bucks are killed during this season!

Edwards - 268
White - 345
Wabash - 229

Thanks for sharing. Those bucks should start start shedding their velvet pretty soon. The acorn mast in Illinois is nowhere as abundant as last year so food plots and planted crops should produce significantly better this season (along with the funnels and beds adjacent!

There's also been much more rainfall in most areas of the state-albeit in some, it has mostly come of late.

Predictions and harvest forecasts are markedly higher for Illinois this coming 2006 season. Hopefully, Bill will put you on a biggin!
