Are there any groudhogs in Saskatchewan?

Are there any groundhogs in Saskatchewan and where in Saskatchewan are they.
I want too shoot them with my Weatherby Vangaurd SS in .243 WIN shooting 55gr. Ballistic Tips. I put a Rock mount bipod, Tasco 2.5-10X42mm scope, and Kolpin sling on it. Is this a good choice?
