I took a nice buck friday morning, and saw a nice young 9 point that I thought would be perfect for one of my 2 youngest siblings. Took my little sister out saturday night, and he chased a doe right past us. Grunted to stop him at 20 yards, and she hammered him. Perfect shot. And then all heck broke loose.

As soon as I heard the arrow strike, I said "You got him!". And she went absolutely nuts.

I had to hold her still to keep her from spooking the buck, and he dropped after going only 50 yards - we got to watch him fall. I've never seen anyone so excited over anything in my life! After some heart-wrenching misses, she finally connected. And she's the only one in our family whose first deer was a buck. This beats any experience I've ever had in the woods by far. A big congrats to my little sis for finally breaking the ice in a big way!
