used quite a few of those barrels in the shop where i worked at one time. some shot outstanding, some shot average, but there were no loosers. they are great barrels for the regular guy who can't afford a krieger, broughton, lillja, obermayer etc. they will certainly work for a non-custom rifle. never had a customer come back threatening to stick it in our ear or somewhere else for that matter. best wishes
