I was about to reply (facetiously) that some defunct bullet makers priced their product as though the bullets were made of gold.
Then I got to wondering...what would a bullet cost if it WERE worth its weight in gold. Some quick Googling and we have the answer: Your common 180-grain hunting bullet priced as if it were gold would run you right at $15.98 each. ![]()
