Actually, it was Bob Hutton that developed the 22 Eargesplittenloudenboomer. The parent case was the 50 BMG.
I don't know whether he ever chambered a barrel or worked up loads for it.
What's a nauga? A nauga is the critter that naugahyde comes from As in: horse hide comes from horses, cowhide from cows- naugahide comes from naugas. Simple, eh?
