BP captures 6000 barrels of oil from leaking well

We can't drill in shallow water because the rich and powerful who liveat ocean front do not want their pristine view of the ocean spoiled by thos ugly oil rigs, the same rigs that they probably own stock in. Guess they want their cake and eat it too.
We can't drill in the Gulf of Mexico but nobody's stopping the Chinese from doing so. What's with that?
The fact that we have more oil in the American west and Alaska than all the other nations in the world and the eckweenies and the government say we can't drill for it? WTF? TREASON sez I!
Most of the OPEC members are countries that do not like us very much. What if they vote to cut us off completely? Canada might not go along with it but Mexico is pissed at us right now because of Arizona. Seems to me that I recall the reason japan hit us at Pearl Harbor was because we would not sell them any more oil due to their aggression in the Pacific. Whether it was deliberate planing by Roosevelt to get us into the war or not is not part of the situation.
It's worth thinking about because if OPEC cuts us off, where do we get the oil we need to run our railroad, fuel our industry, what little we have left that hasn't gone over seas, or our ability to run to the store for groceries? What little gasoline and diesel left would be appropriated by Big brother in a heart beat and what was left severely rationed, that is if there was any left after the government grab. Just a coupleof things to think about.
